Rough Cut Analyses

The video below almost shows the final cut of our opening sequence. There are some strong and weak features within the clip. An example of a strong feature is the accomplishment in achieving a suitable cast which is very similar to the stereotypical genre within the storyline. This is suitable for our target audience and also challenges the stereotype of a "final girl" with high morals which, in this case is a boy. This makes the clip different in many ways in comparison to the typical movies young teenagers watch. It is more appealing and original. Some of the weak points in the sequence included the editing on the sound of the wind which was very loud at one point on the terrace. Another weakness is the text malfunction in the opening credits.
